Now this was different from the run of the mill assignments he's been asked to go on so far. Finally a mission to simply be paid for existing! Honestly its what he deserved really, he was a class all his own amongst his own kind, and the fact that his colors differed than most was even more proof of that. [break][break]

When the camera was on him Link always made sure to put in a good show, with the way his dark feathers shined in the light, seeming to sparkle as the owl spun in the air for his part. Link adding in a bit of a leaves with his Grass Pledge to have the leaves be used almost like confetti to mix in with the sparkles. Truly the camera must love him almost as much as Link loved himself. [break][break]

Obviously it was the reason why his trainer sent him to this mission, and not to get a break from the Decidueye's large ego. [break]never...

Orion is having a Wailord of a time on set. She’s sniffed around every prop, tried to lick all the crew members in greeting and even found a Decidueye feather to play with, flicking it up into the air so she could leap up to chomp her jaws around it. Such great fun! There had been a couple of fingers wiggled in her direction, a voice or two raised but they were just encouraging her to continue with her games, right? [break][break]

It’s only when Orion notices that the other pokemon on the job have started to use their skills, showing off, that she thinks to get in on the action. Displaying her battle prowess was a lot more exciting than chewing on this cable, anyway… [break][break]

So, fur fluffed and preening under the glow of the spotlight, she leaps in front of where the Decidueye stood – completely blocking him from the shot – with STONE EDGE materialising into existence around her, falling from the sky onto the set like tiny comets. It looked very cool.[break][break]

She wasn’t sure why her trainer had a hand over his eyes, though… Didn’t he want to see how much fun she was having on this little playdate?!

The floating rock doesn't look very impressive, slightly cracked and lumpy against the beautiful backdrop of a cerulean sky and the distant call of Wingulls, carried by oceanic breezes. It's inconspicuous as it stays low to the ground, skillfully swerving around the more energetic pokemon on set, as if used to having to dodge kicking limbs and haywire attacks.

Unfortunately for Murzim the Minior, its peaceful existence is cut short by a sudden shower of rocks raining down around it. Crying out in alarm, the small meteorite does its best to escape the onslaught of falling stones, only to find itself bouncing off of a Decidueye and over an overly excited canine, not unlike a volleyball.

Maybe it's the chaotic energy in the set, maybe it's Murzim's own nervousness at being on camera - either way, the Minior floats above the others for a brief moment, its shell cracking ominously.

And then it explodes outward in a shower of high speed debris, leaving behind a ball of swirling indigo energy that smiles bashfully down at the crew. If it could, it would have blushed - instead it turns a brighter shade of blue.

Thankfully its trainer wasn't around to see its embarrassing display...

he sees other pokemon start to flex their moves. it was natural, the lycanroc assumed, since they're given the spotlight in front of the camera. he'd seen it on a television screen before, and he has an idea of what the finished product of their job would look like.

unfortunately, everything goes awry all of a sudden.

for a pokemon of a nature similar to him, order was one of the priorities of everyday life. performance without it was not what he assumed to be the solution. eventually, pent up anger on how his way wasn't being followed manifests itself in a move.

all of a sudden, a frightening roar from the rock-type graces the music video. it's as authentic as any alolan wild pokemon behavior would be if presented with an agitated pokemon after all.

at the very least, the lycanroc wasn't joining, albeit the roars and howls it makes don't make it much easier to digest either.

To be honest, it was such a rare time for this particular Ninetales to be out and about.

She didn’t know why, but ever since she’d been ‘taken’ from her home as a wee little white-colored Vulpix, her human companion hadn’t been able to make use of her talents much.

But to actually have a chance to be herself, just by existing?

Oh, she was definitely down for all of this attention, you bet’cha.

Never mind if she was surrounded by other Pokémon who were showboating, all she needed to do was to trot forward and whip up a mighty snowstorm just by being there.

It was time to shine.

Expenses have been rather tight lately and she knows that her trainer is in somewhat of a pinch. Hence, she had jumped at the first opportunity for a job, a small huff of mist exhaled from her nose as she remembers how she dragged a loose flyer and slid it right into Lilith's hands.

Though she's placed on the ground and allowed to go work her magic, Yule can't help but look back at her trainer and offer her a reassuring nuzzle. Everything's gonna be okay as long as she's here! Bounding over to her position, her gaze flickers over the stage set, her tail swaying to the rhythm of the music as she turns to face the camera on cue - All she has to do now is act cute, right?

Valerio arrives as Vanessa, an esteemed pokemon coordinator whose name spreads like fire on a grass pledge since her participation in the Littleroot Contest. She has all the connection with Hoenn's big and small production houses and when there are times that they truly need a star, it is her name that they call upon the studio.

Vanessa doesn't care much. She would have asked for additional fee if she would be obliged to appear on-screen, but the payment is already enough for her exeggutor, Coatlicue, to bask in the limelight.

And hopefully, for the good reasons.

At the behest of its trainer, the Dusk Forme Lycanroc arrives on set. It finds itself particularly intrigued by another one of its kind— angelo vestri’s Orion. It doesn’t do much but subtly observe this one from afar for a moment, in fact.

When it sees it kick into action, however, Remiel’s Lycanroc swoops in as well. After all, Orion wasn’t the only Lycanroc that could dazzle with a STONE EDGE. Adal’s came in hard and heavy on top of the first.

People awed, in fact, as it threatened to shatter nearby equipment. When it was all over, the Lycanroc turned to the other with a huff. Would they be friends now?
